SCALING UP COCOPOPP

The RZC will now focus on scaling CoCoPOPP’s success to

  • Impact over 130,000 people
  • In 100 rural cocoa farming communities
  • At targeted hotspot and community entry points like schools and
    market places.
  • We will partner with local leaders, and community-based and
    government health workers as well as public health experts to
    achieve this goal.

THE SOLUTION

We implemented Cocoa360’s COVID Preparedness & Outbreak Prevention Plan (CoCoPOPP).

Designed with evidence from past outbreaks like Ebola and community-specific knowledge.

Free medical care for RTI infections at community clinics.

Created Community COVID-19 Committee (CCCs).

Suspected COVID cases then connected to designated regional hospitals.

CCCs helped to recruit and train First Responders from communities.
